Booking info

  • SternShort-stay surcharge

    We add a surcharge for short stays as well as weekend breaks.
    The Ski Magic prices apply for the beginning and the end of the season.

  • SternSki passes

    You can conveniently and easily purchase your ski pass at reception. (Same prices as those at the cable car station)

  • SternChild discount

    Child discounts available on request. info@alpenstern.at

  • SternDeposit

    For a binding reservation, we ask for a deposit between 3 to 7 days.

    For bookings made at short notice, the amount will be charged from your credit card. For credit card bookings (Visa, Mastercard), we need your card number and the card’s expiry date, as well as the 3-digit security code (the last three digits on the back of the credit card). Providing the credit card number with expiry date irrevocably confirms that any cancellation fees may be charged to the credit card if no other payment method has been agreed or no other payment method has taken place.

    Deposits will be withheld as cancellation fees. Bookings without a deposit are not possible.

    General check-in/check-out information

    • Check-in from 3 pm is available in your room or apartment.
    • The check-out time will be until 10 am – we ask you to observe the check-out time & vacate the room by 10 am to ensure cleaning & disinfection intervals for you.
    • We ask you to keep your passports or ID cards ready when you check in.
    • In order to make your arrival or check-in as pleasant as possible, you can enter your registration data online here.
    • Please settle your invoice at the front desk by 8 pm the day before so that check-out can run smoothly.

    In order to make your arrival or check-in as pleasant as possible, you can enter your registration data online here. On the day of arrival, the completed registration is waiting for you to be signed. We only need your identity cards (passports or identity cards).

  • SternArrival and departure

    In case of late arrival or early departure, the entire room price will be charged without deduction according to the booking.

    Please let us know your estimated time of arrival a few days before you arrive. For early arrivals, we ask for a short message indicating your arrival time in advance; please also contact us if you are arriving after 8 pm.

  • SternCancellation terms for winter 2023/2024

    Room cancellations are only valid when made in writing.

    • 3 months to 1 month before day of arrival, 40% of the total agreed price is due
    • 1 month to 1 week before day of arrival, 70% of the total agreed price is due
    • Cancellation during the last week before arrival 90% of the total agreed price is due

    General information about our cancellation terms for summer 2024

    • You can reschedule your reservation in the summer season 2024 up to 7 days before arrival free of charge
      (for a group more than 6 people ou can reschedule your reservation in the summer season 2024 up to 21 days before arrival free of charge)
    • Cancellations 7 days before arrival: 90% of the total price
    • You can only cancel or reschedule in a written form.

    You can park your car in our hotel garage for a fee of € 15 per day. ( limited number of spaces)

    Motorcyclists can use our hotel garage free-of-charge in summer!

    You can charge your car directly at our hotel at our new e-charging station for a fee. Price information is available at reception.

  • SternNon-smoking

    Please do not smoke in the rooms or lounges. The guests who arrive after you will be thankful. You are welcome to enjoy your cigarette outdoors.

  • SternDamage/cleaning

    Any damaged items or extra cleaning will be billed separately.

  • SternForgotten items

    It's a pity if you leave something with us but we're happy to send it to you on request. However, please note that you will be charged shipping costs.
    We keep all forgotten items for 2 weeks.

  • SternLaundry Service

    We offer our guests a laundry service for a fee.
